Screenprint by Irish Illustrator David Rooney inspired by the story of Deirdre of the Sorrows.

Ravens are considered the most intelligent of birds and feature throughout Celtic and other mythologies.  One of the best known examples is the Morrigan, a Celtic goddess with the power to transform to a raven, she influenced the world of men, her story is woven through the Ulster Cycle.
